About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Scientific and Executive Coordinator to provide junior-level scientific, clinical, and operational support to the leadership team of the protecting.health Global Initiative, including the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Scientific Officer, and Chief Clinical Officer.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, scientifically literate, and execution-oriented professional who can help prepare leadership decisions, coordinate cross-functional activities, support scientific and clinical documentation, and ensure priorities are translated into clear actions and follow-through.

protecting.health, founded by Nobel Laureate Prof. Dr. Ferenc Krausz, is being established by CMF (Budapest), LMU Munich, and the University of Hong Kong. It aims to build a new paradigm for early detection and prevention of major non-communicable diseases through longitudinal multi-country cohorts, harmonized clinical protocols, advanced molecular phenotyping, secure data integration, and AI-enabled health screening.

The Opportunity

As Scientific and Executive Coordinator, you will work across leadership offices and functional teams to ensure that priorities are well prepared, meetings are effective, decisions are documented, and strategic actions are followed through. You will contribute to scientific and clinical coordination, leadership briefings, operational follow-up, stakeholder communication, and tracking of decisions, milestones, and deliverables.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership at the founding stage of a globally significant health and science platform with long-term clinical, societal, and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

Scientific and Clinical Support

  • Prepare concise scientific and clinical briefings, presentations, meeting materials, and decision notes for the CSO and Chief Clinical Officer.
  • Synthesize complex information across cohorts, molecular phenotyping, biomarkers, clinical protocols, AI-enabled health screening, and preventive medicine into leadership-ready outputs.
  • Track scientific and clinical priorities, open questions, decisions, and follow-up actions across leadership meetings and partner discussions.

Executive and Operational Coordination

  • Support the CEO, CSO, and Chief Clinical Officer with agenda preparation, meeting notes, action trackers, decision logs, and cross-functional follow-up.
  • Coordinate across internal teams, institutional partners, and external stakeholders to keep key workstreams, milestones, risks, and dependencies moving forward.
  • Help translate leadership priorities into structured workplans, timelines, deliverables, and clear internal communications.

Program, Stakeholder and Documentation Support

  • Assist with coordination of multi-country and multi-institutional activities across clinical, scientific, operational, and data-related workstreams.
  • Support partner meetings, workshops, site visits, consortium discussions, and follow-up with Local Centers, collaborators, and strategic partners.
  • Maintain organized documentation systems for leadership materials, project trackers, briefing packs, decision logs, and stakeholder information.

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in life sciences, clinical research, healthcare innovation, biotech/medtech, diagnostics, public health, health-tech, research management, consulting, or executive support in a scientific or clinical environment.
  • Strong scientific literacy and ability to understand complex biomedical, clinical, or data-driven health topics.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and workstreams.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including preparation of presentations, reports, meeting materials, summaries, or decision documents.
  • Professionalism, discretion, reliability, and ability to work effectively with senior leaders and external stakeholders in an international environment.

Strongly Preferred

  • Degree in life sciences, biomedical sciences, public health, health economics, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Experience in clinical research, longitudinal cohorts, diagnostics, molecular/omics platforms, AI-enabled health products, or preventive medicine.
  • Experience supporting senior executives, principal investigators, clinical leaders, or scientific leadership teams in international or multi-stakeholder settings.

Core Competencies

  • Scientifically curious, structured, proactive, and able to synthesize complex information clearly.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong execution discipline and follow-through.
  • Excellent communicator across scientific, clinical, operational, and executive audiences.
  • High integrity, discretion, resilience, and comfort working in ambiguity.
  • Mission-driven and committed to transforming healthcare through prevention.
